Political consultations between Tajikistan and Latvia

The next round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia was held on December 6, 2023 in Dushanbe under the leadership of the Head of the Department of European and American Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sohibnazar Gayratsho and the First Manager of the Department of Bilateral Relations of the Ministry Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Uldis Mikuts.

 

 

 

During the political consultations, issues related to the current situation and prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in areas of the politics, economics, transport, regional security, as well as cooperation between Tajikistan and Latvia within the EU and other international and regional organizations were discussed.

 

 

 

The parties expressed their readiness and desire to further expand friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest.
